Poem
It is the home truth, that only, a twerp and a divvy honors and praises war. So I think, is time, the nation sends the message of war around to let it reach all. For war becomes rife in every nooks and cranny of our lives during election. As the people forgets that, they make up the nation. But since I know war is futile, then hear my homily, That I wish it creeps and crawls to all the parties and every family. To do nothing but to chastise and lambaste before Ghana experience any tragedy. Oh! What a cruel thing war is, To fill our heart with hatred instead of love for our neighbors. So eventually, we make them become enemies to us. But it seems war will always reign, All because, some leaders has lost the morality of being content. And our support for them makes we fight to vanquish for the vanity and triviality All in the name that, we were sent. Hmm, no wonder we’ve accepted to opt for vindictiveness, Against the act of forgiveness. And out of this, we launch a venomous attack to harm, hurt and butcher our fellow, And all the praises we get is helping our natives not to see tomorrow. But I don’t know, if Ghanians also know, That war is catastrophic and has a pernicious effect on our future generation. All because as a result of the combat, our country and the nation experience destruction. And this makes our homes and property tumble. But in the end, we will all be responsible for the cause of the trouble. For war has fooled us and has made us lost, Because after the destruction, we will end up bearing that future cost. In peace, sons bury their fathers, but in war, mothers bury their sons. So what at all is beautiful and lucrative about the war that we fight? That mankind forget his senses and fight and even die for. But is so funny, that after the destruction and distortion we reason, That we’ve being doing nothing beneficial but was just be fooling for that season. But for now, the nation should be ready to educate the untutored about the futility of war. So that we can put an end to war before war put an end to us. But if we are ready to make the power of love overcome the love of power, Ghana, my motherland will know peace and be harmonious forever. But if we fail to end war, war will surely end us. War is futile so I preach about the futility of war. So that, our motherland can live forever. LONG LIVE GHANA!!!!!!!!!
