Once upon a time not long ago, I was so damn lost i not a shred of hope
i didn’t have a home, nowhere to hide, felt like drowning myself in the tears i cried
there you were never showing your fears, he tore your heart out with wasted years
love disappeared then reappeared, cause when i saw you is when i saw clear
you had a man who you still loved
who didn’t see that you’re worth so much
more than the game of hustlin drugs 
you were never enough he ended up locked up
i had a heart that was badly beaten
so many holes in it felt defeated
never would’ve saw the day that you came
singlehandedly put back together the pieces

we laid in bed and laid our hearts open
made love for the first time that night

how do you define forever, do you know where it begins
can you grasp the concept of eternity
of life and of love without end
what does forever mean to you, what would you do to achieve it
what lengths would you go to discover the meaning, do you even truly believe it
what forever means to me is something very indeed realistic
beginning with one single moment and a lifetime of being reminiscent
try to recreate that perfect emotion or feeling that you had in the past
