Poem
I know that I hurt her And there no excuse to explain And the hurt That I have cause her I know that she would never trust me again I made her cry tonight My actions have cause Her pain And no matter what I do now we will never be the same again i cant ask her to forgive me i just cant ask her for anything i betrayed this love that we had and she give me back my ring i ask her to go my Christmas party but she had a headache and and couldn't go So she told me to go and have fun And drive carefully on the snow I never thought in a million years That our life's was going to change that night That our love our dreams our future Would fly away like a kite I had a good time at the party And then open my car door to go home And saw one of the girls walking to the bus stop So I offer her a ride cause it was to dark to be there alone So I pull up in front of her house And she thank me for the ride Then ask me to come in for cup of coffee And invited me to come inside But soon as we got inside she started kissing As she pushes me up against the door I can't explain why it happen or how But next thing I know our cloths was on the floor And when I reach back home after I went in the shower and went to bed Now I had all this guilt on my mind As she turns and hug me I kiss he on her head She know me so very well And she knew that something was wrong And I know that I would have to tell her That I have betrayed her and let her down We drive to the south beach board walk And I confess to her while we sit over looking the sea She didn't say a word as started to cry She just got up and walk away without saying a word to me She was home already when I came back She was sitting alone in the dark And I just sit at the table drinking a beer I didn't know what to say or how to reacted Next morning she was in the kitchen And in silent I just got my coffee And then I saw her rings on the table Then she stood by door looking at me And As I looked into her eyes I knew that everything was wrong And then she just said goodbye We had been together for so long She said she didn't feel for me again The same way like she did before And after so many years of being together From today We were actually no more I have never love anyone but her And I lost her For a moment of weakness I never knew that when I leave home that night That it was going to be our last kiss
