Poem
His touch was foreign and his glare was so intense. His rough, but strong hand held mine when we kissed in the dark. We're just two strangers with a hell of alot of memories. I never knew what home was before he arrived and I never became nor felt so sleep deprived. His fingers are digging into my back like he's trying to dig my grave. I'll sink 6ft into the ground if it meant for you to be underneath me. We'd spend late hours at night talking about how we felt. We never considered we needed to be healed. We just let our wounds bleeds instead of covering them up. Friends called this a dream, this love and burning desire him an I shared. It's mere hope and delusion we're drowning in. We're just unprepared in a world of hate an anger. People can gossip and let the word out, but we're just a battle within them they scream and shout about. Their promises are like bones, you break one an you're never the same again. When we got alone, his hands found their way to my skin an his lips were york peppermint patties on my neck. His frozen breath leavin' goosebumps on my skin. Beggin' him to stay because, I wanted a love to fill the galaxies on settle for the lights I saw in his eyes. He hated being hidden a distance from me. He follows rules they give him, but he's a castaway wishing to be free. I question our love whether it exists or if it's just lust prolonged. He doesn't love me, he only loves the mess he makes of me when he leaves, or so it feels. Suspense had become a bridge and crossing it has become terrifying and holding my stare on the end. Hid denial haunts me like a ghost. A silent, prayer in whisper wont save me. Moving in slow motion and lines he says just aren't straight the way they once were. The things he couldn't be, he settled with fate, but as tears fall from those aussie eyes, I looked at him and said, "I won't let you go, without you I'll drown. So, let me love you and just talk you down". Face of a savior, body like a saint, but the devil's skin is painted red on him. I begged and pleaded, but his wings spread and sight just draining of color as he shattered my heart. Falling forward and my lips stained with tears. The world's moving in slow motion as we both commit action of sin. Juliet and Romeo death and sorry just whispered in the air. A rush of breath left me as we uttered good-bye.
