When we were young,
I held my long tongue
Foolishly sheepish 
Life is a sea full of fish

Good times spent with you mindlessly 
Boy, I don't feel guilty for being your minion of troublesome crime...spent so playfully 
But God knows what I'll be without you...
Subsiding and abiding by my side...I think about you too 
I lament because you see the descending devil, caught under the spell of hellfire
I repent because I'm the ascending angel, fought the silent wars in my mind of wild desire 

I guess you're sleeping while I'm weeping
I'm deep down in your well of oh well's and the cells I despondently find myself reaping
Rapt in rue and crawling close to you...
I'm the black widower that got his eyes on you cuz you're in my crew 
My advice to you is to stop doing what you do to me...unlike a select few
But...you don't mind trotting over me time and time again 
Tranquilizing me with your fake words that wear off on me through thick and thin
You put my life at risk
You plant a seed of sorrow on my tongue 
You're the batter and I the whisk
I can turn you around and I can spin you around...I'm the door bell that rung 
I'm the sluggard that rests in the shrouds of clouds
I'm the glutton that devours your words that gets tossed to and fro in clueless crowds

I'm your door mat...
I'm fat with hatred and all that junk that you so very well like
I'm your kitchen rat...
Scuttling around the place in a hurry...I'm your furry friend, your childhood bike

You ride me around the town of frowns
And you open up my mouth to replace my teeth with crowns
You're the dentist that experiments on me gaily and recklessly
I'm the waitre, waiting for your order oh so patiently, yet you take up the time I willingly give up gratefully 

Next time you try to shoo me away,
I'll be your night, dressed up as your sun-shining day
Kiss me, abstract abyss in my mind of messed-up pain 
It reigns upon me like sheltering, rancid insane rain...

You frolic in my nostalgic mind 
Letting time slip on by, left behind 
Get a grip and sip into the mug of my misery
Take a dip and trip out on this delusion you call a friend carelessly 

Because you were never mine to begin with...so just run off like the rest of them

Just leave me alone...whatever floats your demented boat, I don't care anymore - forget and forgive, my ruby gem

Give me your all
Cuz I'll be standing tall
You're another gum on the wall
My mouth agape, obviously in appall 
What else am I supposed to say?
No, I'm having a not-so-pleasant day 
If you say I'm handsome 
I guess so...
If you say I'm insecure and numb,
Right on though...
You're a friend and a foe
What were we fighting for?
You're a wreck of a show
I implore you, I desire you more...but you don't contact me anymore
I guess some come and go...come and go...
I guess so...I guess so...I guess so...
So, don't speak to me at all if you have something nasty to say 
Because I won't listen to your BS...you can leave instead of stay
I got over you long ago
You should definably know
That you're not the one for me
I guess so...can't you clearly see?
You are a sparkling sea
A gracious glow, you know?
Without me...or even with me, but still it's not meant to be
