Neglecting the love song in my mind's eye
Directing my thoughts to your flawed lie
You're the highlight in my life, dynamic diamond 
You're the friend and foe in my nightmarish dream - I am fond of our bond 

We are sheltering each other from the rainstorm
Silently still on my bed, awake with sudden dread
Admiring the moon as it shines so vibrant against an ebony sky
Show me how to live life without any worries in mind 
You're my miracle in disguise
You're my pocketful of illuminating light, attracting many flies
Quit ignoring my messages and I'm growing tired of your thoughtless goodbyes 
I'm trying to bite the bullet for you...the shadows of you gives me those temporary highs 
But what comes up must come down...
I'm so mind-blown cuz I was all alone 
Good news - you make me wear an upside down frown when you drive me 'round in town 
Once upon a time, I was a broken bone when I was left on my own, no one is picking up the phone 

I haven't heard from you
Good morning to mourning...don't you see I'm blue?
Whatever I've done that meant you so much harm...
I'm sorry, but I tried and tried with the shedding of tears and a restless arm
Without anyone to lean on
Might as well be...gone...
Hello from the inside 
You subside from my side 
You light the way 
You're the dawn and the gray of today 
You're the imperfect storm inside and out 
You know what I'm talking about...don't make me childishly pout

Ah...ah...ah...

My guilty passion 
Beats me with affection
Bombs going off like crazy
I'm feeling hazy...my beautiful daisy...and feeling numb lazy
Everyone changes as the years go by
I'm like a Miley, good boy gone bad
Today, I don't feel up to any tear shedding...all I do is smile and sigh
It's not fun being me at times...you get happy and then sad

My anger is under a leash and I've grown accustomed to my envy rage 
My frustration simmers down..I'm a fall, settling into a winter...I'm a determined, talented dancer on stage 
Never did I have the mind of an artist until I found my writing voice
My master pieces fade away and I have no room to simply rejoice 
I don't know why I'm as unpredictable as the Californian weather we're getting 
Getting used to your opinions that differ from my own
Contemplating on the piano chords in your heart that keeps playing that tune, a tune I won't be forgetting 
Any time soon...
My shimmering afternoon moon 

I know I act pathetic and foolish
But I got hooked to you as if I'm the fish...
Caught in your net of narcissistic, daydreaming mindset
I get upset because you're in wonderland while I'm in reality...drowning in regret debt
