What to do 
What to say
Jump in my car
I’ll run away
From all the confusion
All the craziness
Yet all the insanity
Leave, away
Tank’s nearing “E”
Out of money
A growl deep in my belly
Reminds me again
I pull to the roadside
Cars pass without
A glance
The caution lights
Throw an eerie glow
No music, no ears
Only silence
I ran
But my thoughts, my past
Still followed from behind
Dancing in my car
Around my head 
They utter words, phrases
My scream fills the air
I look at my hands
See what I’m holding
The clay discolors my skin
I mold, then destroy
It’s temporary existence
How I wish my life
Were this easy
I could make it however
Then erase it
And start again
But my life’s not that pliable
There’s no erasing and redoing
My thoughts bounce off my head
Step out of my car
Slam the door
On my fears
And walk
Once again away
From it all
