Should I continue feeling this way,

Or should I not?

Should I give it my all,

Or should I not?

Is it worth letting the feelings come alive

Or should I not?

These are questions I ask myself every day when I think about you.

I have never gotten answers to these questions.

I find my emotions already leading me,

I will just follow like a blind man being lead.

At first I was to tell my guide,

“Not that side, let’s go this way.”

But now, I can hardly tell when the next turn will be.

I just let him lead hoping, I don’t land in a ditch, (maybe break a leg or something).

I look behind, still as a blind man,

And see how much I have collected with my guide,

I begin to have more trust,

I fold my white cane and put it back,

Allowing my guide full control of the destination to take me.

Now, take me to all the best places you could ever think of,

I am all yours.

Let’s fly like a butterfly.

Let’s run like a gazelle,

Let’s swim like a dolphin,

Let’s go everywhere,

I’m right behind you,

I’ll let you lead.

That’s what I have done with my emotions,

Given up and left you to lead.
