Poem
Pre-chorus: Do you hear me, calling your name from the other side of the road? Did you know that you are the best, compared to the rest? I've been left in the cold on my own... I feel like I'm far away from the warm city, in the forest all alone Hello, hello - can you hear me screaming out? I just need someone to lean on without a doubt Tell me something I don't know You tell the same stories...it's like watching a familiar show Chorus: Tell me that there's some hope to reap Tell me which road to choose or I'll fall into a hole of confusion, oh so deep Tell me, tell me something Tell me, tell me something I don't know I don't know anything about what's on your mind I don't know where I am...I feel as if I am blind Goodbye, goodbye - can you hear my heart being fast? I'm trying to look forward to a future that's coming so fast Forgiving and forgetting the past Is harder than I thought... I wish this moment between us won't last I give it all I got before I give up and rot Waiting for you to tell me, tell me Tell me something I don't know... Tell me, tell me if I'm worthy of your happiness Going through rough times and I'm in a state of mournful gladness Verse 4: It's obvious that we're so distant It just happened in a flick of an instant Tell me something I don't know... Tell me if you'll reap what you sow Tell me if I'm like the sun, shining aglow Tell me if there's something I need to know Is there something wrong with me? Why do I feel so low? Why am I depressed when I should be happy? Should I stay or should I go? I guess I need to let go...let go... Cut off the weeds of woe...of woe... There's a place where you and I should be - A place where we will be one with our ecstasy Pre-chorus: Do you hear me, calling your name from the other side of the road? Tell me, tell me if I'm worthy of your happiness Going through rough times and I'm in a state of mournful gladness Verse 5: Why won't you tell me the truth? Are you scared of how I'd react? Sticks and stones have broke my bones, But I'll remain standing... Do you hear my muffled moans? You need to be understanding, not so demanding And tell me, tell me Tell me something I don't know Tell me, come over here and tell me Tell me if you love me from head to toe You don't have to be next to me...I see That this love between us doesn't matter anymore You can depart from me...I'll be ok with me Just leave me be in my solitary room of gloom, fighting this depression war With or without you With or without you Pre-chorus: Do you hear me, calling your name from the other side of the road? Tell me, tell me if I'm worthy of your happiness Going through rough times and I'm in a state of mournful gladness Verse 6: Tell me something I need to know, Not something I already know, you know... Can you show me where the blessed breeze blow? I need to know if you still think of me and if you still love me so... I've tried to forgive myself for the mistakes I've made I've tried to mend your broken heart, but I'm a gray and blue shade Tell me something new that brings your passionate soul to life Tell me something that will encourage me to end strife It's typical of me to be so selfish and rude I keep reminding myself to have the attitude of gratitude It's no secret that I have failed to reach the finish line You can see right through me when I lie to you and say that I'm fine
