Of Cars in Malaysia Part 1

In this part of the world where I am at, a motorcar is every somebody’s must have…
Simply because reliable and regular scheduled public transportations is not as we should  have…

Our political leaders are proud the traffic snarls we do have are yet to reach epic proportions…
That typically clog the streets of capital cities like Bangkok and Jogjakarta in the neighbouring nations..

Economic pundits and gurus proclaim gleefully each  time monthly motor vehicles sales are climbing …
Professing every uprising trend in monthly vehicular sales is indicative of a very vibrant economy…

Little wonder here in this nation, every Tom , Dick and Harry set eyes upon buying a car as a priority…
In local context, every Ahmad, Ah Chai and Muniandy hope to buy a car at the earliest possible opportunity… 

Small wonder international car makers regard Malaysia as a marketing paradise for all makes of cars…
Pick any established brand and you will encounter its popular model on roads overflowing with cars….

It amuses so to think of the Honda brand of cars, with its many models hogging the local roads…
Through the years, the general public are in ACCORD that HONDA brand means comfort on the road…

A very popular model widely touted for urban  driving is the the ever popular HONDA CITY…
Coming up close is the  ever popular ACCORD and the sports utility model called HONDA CRV…

Latest to hit the road is the HRV, aggressively promoted as a sports utility vehicle to whet the apetite…
Of HONDA car lovers looking for an upgrade to a finer class of vehicular handling and comfort….

Here in this country, even if you are blindfolded, you are bound to run into  a TOYOTA vehicle…
Should you unconsciously bump into the numerous cars that are stationed in any car park avalaible…

Should one stand still to observe the many moving cars zipping past on a given  metalled road…..
One will be amazed at the sheer volume of cars carrying the TOYOTA brand zooming on the road…

From old ancient models from the 70’s that are ideal for the museum, they are roadworthy still…
To the latest models fresh out from the showrooms, you’ll find them all on any busy road…

Here comes a TOYOTA CAMRY, a low sleek 2.2cc monster of a saloon car, with the latest facelift…
This lasting model has come a long way since its humble introduction in the early nineties...
