Poem
You seek me, You find me You know when I sit, when I stand You know my inner thoughts, my inner feelings You know my inner sorrows, inner sadness You know my inner struggles, inner conflicts You know when I debate with myself You know when I hate to look in the mirror, and when I like what I see You call out “Where are you?” Sometimes I am still nervous, even after almost 25 years 25 years of God being a part of my life A God I’m sometimes cringe to approach Yet I want to approach, I want to be bold To commune with the Triune God is my goal I wish to dive deeper and deeper into God Should I drown, I want to accept and embrace it Will God answer this prayer? Does He want this to? God is the one who cries out, “Where are you?” The Father sent His Son by the Spirit to call me back Yes, God wants this too In the quiet of the night I still wonder, still fear God is a Being to be respected and to be worshipped Can I really approach my Creator? Can I really commune with Him? Or should I observe the Triune God from a distance? Father, You are my Father. I should run to You. Yet, here I stand and stay back even after 25 years. Lord Jesus, even You approached Our Father trembling and on Your knees Jesus, please guide me to Our Father who art in heaven Dear Spirit, take the plunge with me Push me in and let me swim around in the Triune God. Let me commune with the Persons, let me get to know the Persons Let them be my all in all; let me be bound to them I do not want to be like many of my ancestors, Who were supposed to be your people and be bound to you. Yet them walked away and chased after other idols, chased after their own pride; Father in heaven, do not let me be like them. Let me be like Jesus who always obeyed you. Let me be like my King; My King followed our Father, no matter the cost. Spirit guide me and walk with me, like you walked with the King.1
