Poem

The air is so crisp on a cold spring morning
The ice cracks and crumbles in frozen puddles without warning.
Just a scant childhood memory locked into time,
And it is cherished forever, selfishly coverted as mine.

The bicycle wheels endless motion as it winds through the park.
Don't worry to tell mum she knows I'll be home before dark.
Round the path, through the trees and up the hills,
such simple little adventures full of fun and laced with thrills.

The infinite abundance of childhood fantasy,
played out with full abandonment in the world of make believe.
The unstifeling encouragement of friends who give accent,
to all ideas of adventure the ear is ever bent.

The age of computers, social media, electronic games,
may proport to foster intelligence but have really mashed our brains.
Computer games map out a story, no need for you to think,
then disapointedly all over before it's time to blink.

No need to think for answers just google it you see,
The answers there by the billions, so true it must be.
Remember asking strangers for directions, draw a mud map if you please!
Now it's never heard of just push google maps with ease.
