Poem

He is tall and beautiful. 

I glimpse him from across the room as he laughs showing a mouth full of perfect 
white teeth.

His personailty sparks and sizzles the air, it jumps across my skin causing a 
slight shiver. 

He doesnt notice.

I let the melody of his voice wash over me like a cleansing rain. It sinks into my 
pores and is locked in my DNA.

He becomes a part of me.

Not once ever taking my eyes from him our glances meet. His eyes hold me 
there long after he has turned to continue his over loud conversation.

He is puting on a show.

Letting me see with out telling me "You are unimportant and there are more of 
YOU every where i go. You CAN be replaced. You HAVE been replaced"

He keeps torturing me.

Empty promises of "Baby ima call" and "You know you special to me!"

He doesnt care.

Why should he after all it was what it was and no hard feelings because there 
were never any there from the start.

He doesnt take heed.

Cant see that his truths have turned me cold. Forced me to watch from afar as 
you feed the same false hope to what ever her name is. 

And inside im screaming in protest " WHY NOT ME ?", wanting your attention, 
needing to feel your touch, yearning for some thing that wasnt there.

Then i wake in a cold sweat only to find that i wasn't dreaming and im back in his 
bed again.

Same lies.

Same wayward dreams.

He doesnt notice.
