Poem
I’m lost within his gentle gaze, swallowed whole in the bluish hews Of old blue eyes, my heart melts within his tender gentle embrace, This romantic bard whom speaks poetry without words expression! Dancing moon lovers are we, swaying unto the stratosphere’s timeless Waltz of everlasting devotion, lunar beings of twilight amerced within The spell of loving! Oh sweet prince of the ethereal dreaming realm, you’ve slain this Damsel beneath thy lance of passions desire, concurred the dragon Of betrayal leaving bleeding on the blackened field of past regrets, I’m your queen of hearts, and you are my ace of the reddened rose! Elder royals are we, my king and I, living in the crystal castle of Dreams illusions, amongst the ageless hills of remembrance! Fallen tears of angelic angels, are as the tender emotions shared Within these keepsaker’s of the devotional, bound moonbeams Flickering across the timeless seas of eternal love, rippling in Colors array on this aquatic reflective surface of memory! United roses intertwined by vows promise, in the golden Bands two youthful hands, are unified beneath the gaze Of the spiritual sky above! Burnt embers of spent flames are we, as the age of Melted candle wax drips downwards against the Crystal hourglass of time itself, trickle do the grains Of Silver sand, until the spark is just a twinkle! Yet In the eyes of my lover, time stands completely still, Continuously beautiful, in the elder years amongst the bouquet Of the tarnished forget-me-knots of loving! One by one let the rose petals fall, as leaves of the emotional, Wistfully blowing freely in the breeze of passions heart’s desire, Seductions wind dancers twisting in the winds of the romantic, My old blue eyes, my king, and I! Within his timeless ocean, let me this damsel of loving thus Drown, beneath his tender waves, I’ll not struggle but embrace His liquid aquatic motions, as a mermaid of legends caressed By her prince of dreams! Thunder creatures flashed by the lightning blast of seduction, Storm dwellers, striking at one another in the thrashing twilight Of the hurricane, than unwinding as we approach the shores Of landfall dissipating ever gently as a light summer rain, Than changing again as the morning mists at sunrise! Here we’ll dream in the fields of tomorrow, In our private kingdom amongst the clouds divide, Within the castle of crystal clarity my king, my lover My ruler of hearts and I, forever dreaming!
