The chemicals in my blood
mix with the vodka and caffeine
trying to keep the buzz
before the stress swallows me
the things i imagine would save me
but only kill me slowly
smoking to drinking
doing drugs and later all of the above
but yes there are those
finding there sense of home
with the needle and the bottle
with the herbs and the jesus juice
but that is not i am on
i just stress in my veins
like an ice cold shiver down my spine
or the kink in your neck 
when you slept bad the night before 
people see others smoke
saying they do cause it is cool
while the truth is further in 
stress makes you do stupid things
later one when every one is surprised
why did this man lay his life
while he looked so happy
the truth is underneath
stress is as deadly as morphine
