—Agonizing Moment, the Hour of 0846 and Thereafter, 09/11/2001—
 
When Pearl Harbor sank to the bottom of water
this nation wailed for enormous pain. However, to cure the wound
we all, the men and women, the young and old, assembled under Star-Spangled Banner, took up arms, and dashed to the enemy who caused to sink this paradise island, shouting: “why did you do this to us?”

When twin towers fell to the ground
ashes blasted in the air covered the sky,
and in this darkness, the sun turned away its face 
from the horror stricken souls run about utter confusion,
because too pitiful to witness this tragic site.

When the eagle’s nest struck and destroyed by sudden blow,
the eagle fell to the ground. The eagle though writhed and flapped wings in agony, alas; the broken wings disabled the eagle to soar in a great confusion prevailed air.

When all of us heard the desperate but calmly controlled voice
“I love you,” from UA Flight 93, we sensed ominous presentiment
and though we wished that our inauspicious feeling would not come true, 
alas, but it was right, even those passengers of the Flight who fought against 
the terrorists bare handed, were crushed to the forest of Shanksville where the last word from the plane echoes in the empty air.

Stunned by these terrible sights in an abstracted air 
overwhelmed nation, everyone lost the word.
Sadness, then, fell upon everyone’s heart, and all of us cried 
for devastation; however, we all know at least, America will 
not fall to the terrorists, no matter how fiercely they attack this nation.
Our nation never kneels to evildoers, no matter how powerful are the perpetrators they may be, rather, we become stronger in the weight of esprit de corps. 

No matter how barbaric are the terrorists,
since this country, where the Star-Spangled Banner proudly flutters is,
simply too beautiful to abandon, too precious to surrender,
you will not intimidate us by any means. Our oneness in a strong sense of 
justice drives us to a bright and promised future, rather then make us dwell 
in a woebegone darkness.

And that is why we all wiped our tears away, 
though we are sad and depressed, 
and rushed to the death prevailing veriest hell 
the scenes where the evils did evil, and ardently called 
the names of missing neighbors one by one, expecting 
to hear “Here I am!”

Our heroes rushed to the scene, hanged our nation’s flag proudly
on the remaining shards of the towers, and worked risking 
own lives for others.
