I dream to have a country place where I can lay my head
A nice big yard, campfires, and a soft warm bed
A place set back far away from the city streets
A place filled with green woodlands, flowing rivers, shallow creeks
I dislike the city, the hustle and bustle of the day
I’d like to live in peace and quiet in nature if I may

Slowing down and enjoying all of life’s simplicity
Living in a private life away from all publicity
Walking down the road with the breeze blowing through my hair
Looking up at all the trees and breathing clean country air
I wish to have a quiet place where I can start a life
Raising all my children and loving with my wife
A place where I can grow old with a smile on my face
Not worrying about a single thing and live at my own pace

A chance to live in harmony with the great outdoors
A place where the deer may run and the eagle where it soars
Where I can ponder about life in the countryside
My own little oasis; a place where I can hide
Away from the city; hustle and bustle of the day
A home out in the countryside is where I want to stay
