Where is Yesteryear?
The simple life was good
In yesteryear people had respect for all things
In yesteryear we talked to each and everyone
It was a time that we would sit on the front porch
And visited with our neighbors.
Suppertime was family time everyday
Everyone at the table talked about the day's happenings
We would gather around the the TV or radio
Then we would listen to out favorite program
When tragedy happen which was't often
Neighbors came together to help out
Yesteryear was a time of high standards and morals
Fashion was very modest but yet stylish
Yesteryear we had time for the little things in life
How i wish the Yesteryear was here today not in the past
Those were the good times
