I have this fire breathing inside me
I'm ready to make changes 
So others will see 
That anxiety 
Will not defeat me

Up at night 
I can hardly sleep
Anxiety cuts deep
Too many thoughts racing
Constantly misplacing
My thoughts

I'm hungry to make a difference
Hungry to change
Start to rearrange
My life

With this pen I can make a difference
Let others know 
We have different ways to show
Different ways we grow 

I refuse to be lifeless 
Hidden in the shade 
Don't want to be told how to act
How to react 
Don't want to be given an "F" grade

Mixed emotions make me think
No person is better than the next
We just have a different way of thinking
A different complex

So next time 
When your wondering what's on my mind
Take a minute to see 
This is anxiety
