Poem

I'm feeling empty,

I feel so sad,

I feel so heavy;

Claimed my heart,

It's hard to go on,

Coz I'm feeling weak,

Trying to get up;

But so tired to stay up,

I want to burst out;

I'm drowning so deep,

It's hard to breathe,

My heart struggle to beat,

But it keeps on beating,

To keep on living,

To stay on earth,

To evade the death.

Know what I'm feeling?

Hard to explain.

Let go a sigh,

I close my eyes;

Stop my tears,

From falling down;

My heart is asking,

To take a rest,

Just for a day,

Can I stop beating?

If only possible,

To make it real;

To give each organ,

A day to rest,

To stop the feelings,

Absorbing problems;

To stop the brain,

From a deep thinking;

To shut the eyes,

Of seeing things;

To close the ears,

Of hearing bad things;

To stop the mouth,

Of talking nonsense;

And give a break,

To a tired heart,

A day to rest

To cease from beating.

To rest the body,

Of carrying burden so heavy,

And take a total rest,

Even just for a day,

If only.......



I want to scream;

To lighten my burden,

To cry out loud,

All the tears from within;

Put down all loads,

And empty my heart;

And lie in cotton soft bed,

And enjoy my rest.

If only.....
