From the first moment I laid eyes on you
I knew no other woman would do
You had me tongue tied like fool
Couldn’t find any words to say
Lost all my game feeling like a lame
Nothing click in my brain accept your name

Didn’t think I would see you again after that first day
Had me feeling like dang another one got away
But to my surprise you kept coming back again and again
Always more beautiful than last time I saw you
Now you had me praying dear god let this be true
Bless me with speech so smooth
Because I don’t want to sound like a fool
Help me stay calm and keep my cool

Because you know I will always be your man give you everything I can
I’m not a perfect man but you bring out the best that I am
Got me thinking about new godly plans
I’m like return of the Christian
But I’m still god’s rebel
Still struggle to escape my troubles also known as the devil
But whenever I look in your eyes I can see a better life
With the lord and you by my side I know I’ll be alright
I just got that feeling you and I can have a good life even through the hard times
No matter what we go through
