This is not my world, this is not my day
Why can't I just run away?
I'll never come back, never be in your way
You'll never have to worry about my stupid, ugly face.
Here I go, watch me leave
But for some reason you won't let me.
If you keep me here, I'll never be free.

Always trapped, never to be me
In a cage, waiting to eat,
Waiting to leave...

I sit here and watch you thrive
Meanwhile I'm just trying to survive,
I'm dying here on the inside.
No one cares to see me crying,
No one cares if I'm OK
But I'm not OK,
I can't be, not this way.

A million things crowd my mind
and not even I can get inside.
I can't sort, can't organize
and that's the way I stay alive.
