Poem

Splendored by the adoring swallows of pride,
Drifting away of the sunrays beneath the rivers tide.
Casting away shadows of the worm beneath the sea.
How could this be?

Waiting my whole life,
Waiting my whole life,
Never to reach the edge of life's canvas
Dark Velvet some calls it a shade of blue.

Some peers for a second and just calls it black,
I call it the origins of all civilizations.
I call it moor even though most see it as an opening,
For you not to noticed your true culture makes my heart sore.

We are divided by society,
Split up in our own catorgory of race.
You believe in the bible,
Yet still don't believe everyone is only one race.

The knowledge poured upon divine books,
Was only gold and diamonds stolen deep from our land.
Trying to keep us lost in space,
Using egyptian names upon the creatures of star wars.

I am the light fire is what you seek,
For in the rain I won't go out.
Only if you come to me humble and meek,
I will show you the road of enlightment.

Only if you seriously seek knowledge,
Seek me with all intents.
For I will only stay distant,
If thy wisdom don't know your face.

For you must study to show your self approved,
Don't mean you have to pay money to go to school.
For seeking your own knowledge,
Deep in your spirit will you find the pure me.

So wrap your self up in my felted flesh,
As im the spirit for which you are living.
For if you continue to walk with the mindless mass,
I will leave you in your empty space.

As I flow away with the current of knowledge,
I could have been your personal Dark Velvet canvas.
