Almost Like or Similar To
for Anna Hopper

I just want to make sure it is apparent
that I am not trying to copy or take any
credit away from anyone. That always
bothers and worries me.

Is ADD something you should shout about?
And will always end up with much doubt
Of what could be cause or possible cure
How much of it may you be able to endure.

Is almost like you have been caught in a trap
Severely suffering from a miserable mishap
And maybe also a case of mistaken identity
Of each side affect and additional amenity.

Suppose child happens to be one of your own
And then for a loop you are totally thrown
Wondering which way to go and what to do
Even if it had been me instead of only you.

Memory is both of long as well as short range
So what is it that you think may be strange
Out of order or possibly kilter for a while
More statistics they may have to compile.

Regardless of name to it you have assigned
Resigned myself to think another is not far behind
While thinking much about and having to admit
Things will be there almost like or similar to it.
