Poem

Earth is probably billions years old
Some creationists say only thousands years old
They do so because glory of God they wish to behold
But would his power not better be demonstrated if Earth is very old

Thousand years is a lot but in eon it is just droplet in a sea
Planet earth can be a place of beauty
If God made it to last long time this testament of his power would be
Even if Earth will die in five billion years who can tell what is man kind’s destiny

Over hundred million years ago deinosuchus hunted by Jurassic lake
Many dinosaurs down under water he managed to take
Crocodiles managed to survive and only small changes they had to make
As a species they survived longer than average lifespan of a sea or a lake

There is something about crocodile’s scaly armor that moves the very soul
Something one sees only if ones very dreams one can control
No wonder dragons had such armor in ancient lore
The dragons hiss is as awe inspiring as lion’s soul shaking roar

The dreams that vision of this armor attract
Can take one to journey into abstract
And make one wonder what is beyond abstract
To finally realize that in God’s great creation somewhere in abyss lays last abstract

Mathematical nirvana is at its base
But even if this is a surreal place
It is a part of our planet’s grace
And we can make use of it to better our race
