Recording one’s legacy is always an egotistically complex process, One is not harassed by burdens or limitations, And yet fear of leaving especial implications out is prevalent, As insinuations and misconceptions tend to bloom on the weaker of mind The majority of mind I mean to record in latter sections the product of my genius—a special victim of sorts, One whom I have become strangely attached to… As it is not our nature to attach ourselves emotionally to any other victim The art of victimizing is bittersweet for those who comprehend the questions of life And for demons, even when on a role for years with their victims, None truly reach any form of satisfaction, That of which humans can intensely feel after a good or horrible deed All I understand is that I was satisfied (whatever that means), In my life as an angel— Though because I was so satisfied, there was a part of me, A curiosity if you will—that questioned my satisfaction Do I really want to be this high and good? What is the alternative? Is there an alternative? And if there can be, could it be a livable lifestyle—an enjoyable lifestyle? Let me tell you a little secret that you may or may not believe: As angels, appointed rightly so under God, My teacher was always the virtuous Lucifer, And it was I, his brilliant pupil, who planted such questions of satisfaction in his brain, Not intending to lead my maestro downwards to his newfound purpose, But in sincere fear of falling myself! You could see my vexation when the time came when Maestro Lucifer did a big “no-no” My respectable teacher of truth—traveling the waysides of my horrific questions, Into audacious action and way of living! How ENTICING for us all! Because the answers of obscure satisfactions was still a blur, And in his dividing, I now had an actual CHOICE I now had the CHOICE to leave heaven, With my longtime teacher, my wayside friend So my rationalization became simple: I lived in heaven, in highness, all my life Now I can reach the other end of the spectrum As a brand new entity, At the bottom…. where all the sugar collects…. Now, having sampled existence as both angel and demon, I have only one wish now—to reach my proper midpoint, And even Aristotle would agree that it is neither too high nor too low— Becoming a human being
