Brimstone and bricks...they got hotter and higher
The wall that I built became a fortress of fire
Keep the killers out while keeping kind ones within
Every single smiling soul to me looks like a stranger of sin
Ice cold in isolation
I wake to wicked thoughts and touches
I'm twisting and I'm turning...tender moments seem too tough
Beat to death before it buds
Burn it down before it blooms
Red eyed ravens bring me messages from the dark side of the moon
Too much disaster, death, and doom
Too much hunger
Too much hatred
Too many horrorshows and hellions hiding humor as a holocaust
Some things are never sacred
Losing track of time and seasons
Thoughts like trains go off the tracks into treachery and treason
Here where the grass was always greener is now dead and dying fast
My garden once so full of wondrous treasures has turned into a ghetto
Filled with toxic terror trash 
Smoking dreams turn into ash
Signals once so bright and spiritual turn into Satanic static stash
This nirvana here in nowhere now becomes a new nightmare
Now I'm seeking out an exit
All I see is neverland...for me there is none
Now I can barely hear a heartbeat
I cannot tell how near or far
I can hear a hopeful voice somewhere beyond the wall
I start beating fists against the bricks as my hands turn into hammers
This fortress once so fortified starts to crack and starts to crumble
I can hear a roar and rumble as I stagger and I stumble
I fall down to my dirty knees as I'm swallowed in the sun
My Father gives me freedom to live a life of love and liberty
In a world beyond the wall
