He’s a boxer in a night club
Out to make a score
Sees a gorgeous chic
On the dance floor
Ready for his next move
To pull her with his hook
He crosses with a double
His upper cut shook




He’s a boxer in a night club
Too the music he moves
She kind of likes his style
Jabbing to the groves
Together they swing faster
She pins him on the ropes
But he does a counter punch
Starts rapping bout’ his hopes 




I’m gonna lay it on ya’
Play it to the bone
Gonna make you mine girl
Gonna take you home
I’m gonna socket to you
Dance with all I got
Bringing home my winnings
When this final bell clocks




Challenging her movements
He circles her with pride
Quickly stepping left
To meet her inside thigh
His hand around her waist
Then twisting back in time
Now back onto the outside
To meet her crossing right





He’s a boxer in a night club                                                               
He’s bending on his knees
Ready to deliver
His hopes and all his dreams
This his final punch line
Did he make her get on down
Drop dead gorgeous
Here’s the next round




I’m gonna lay it on ya’
Play it to the bone
Gonna make you mine girl
Gonna take you home
Baby you’re knockout
You’ve lasted every round
Bringing home my winnings
