Poem
(Authors Note: Be advised; this poem contains some non-delicate language but it does have fewer calories than other similar generic poems) Crimes of the future wait like raw sausages Fat fingers in the eye of justice Blind, inevitable, they climb greasy Time is right around the corner in a trance Drags mud with it on the foot of truth Crime of the future is never new Newspapers write about it in advance No one cares about facts or what happens Crimes of the future turn in a flash Go on like red lights that never blink The age of garbage actions fill in what is to come Female future crimes come on Fall on the concrete solid sounds Roll off the tongue in vulgar spurns Before morning starts and skirts fall off Naked, cursing, swearing language Crimes of the future are waiting Crimes in the future are guaranteed Breathing black, never look back to practice Perfect to the very last drop of blood Spread on the ground like dirty butter, legs wide Acts against nature, can’t satiate or salivate alone With the vile tongues intentions licking The pavement dragging with it Bad men in disguise, with virus plagued eyes Finger frolicking disgust against the will Hid with the beasts in the grass, crawl silent on the lawn Lay down the law of nature Prey on the weak and innocent Plant them in the grave Throw granny and her wheel chair Off the cliff for kicks Push babies under buses for the fun Acts of violence release adrenaline Kill fear, kill innocent and all involved Police are secretaries jotting down funny stories Details about how it is Things must be captioned, vulgar people captured Important to the law is that things keep tidy In order to perfect a more perfect union in the gutter The past has nowhere to go It is the last place to look for good Or find refinement of the human kind Legal matters are the repetition of what has passed Redundancies repeated in the courts as ancient history It carries trust and truth like water on the wind But no solution…only facts mixed with rain and air Courts know nothing of the present Evaporating evidence before them They and the future wait for crime Towed, hauled in from the past like trash The future has advantages when you are evil Justice walks two steps behind No one is wrong and nothing is new Bad things are a certainty When crimes come before their time Evil can’t wait to feel the disease inside Passed on as a contagion Generations open wide with open arms As crime defines
