Poem

i sit here alone in the quiet
no one around me
to distract me
yet i still cant put pen to paper
i cant put what my head thinks
what my heart feels
and what my eyes see
questions fill me head
thoughts of honesty
wonders if we'll ever be
more then just you and me

i try to close my eyes
get some sleep
but then i realize
I've gotten in so deep
so deep that you're all i think of sometimes
so deep that you're all i speak of in my rhymes
some time i think i would do
just about anything to be with you
to feel your sweet kisses on me
your warms arms embrace me
your beautiful lips, first kiss, touch mine
these thoughts fill up my time

i sit and day dream about you
wondering were you could be 
wondering if you do to
day dream about me
or if i'm just crazy

i write these poems almost religiously
always speaking of fantasies
and making "us" out of you and me
but this you don't see

i joke around And we laugh
these are the moments i wish would never pass

i hear you talk of girls 
not to many, just a few
 but it's a large enough number
that i'm scared of losing you
fears that one day you'll see
that i'm not all that great, not all that pretty
and you'll run away with another
and not have a second thought about me

theres this little saying i heard
if you love someone you'll let them go
and you let go of me
and if they come back it was meant to be
and i'm back
just not sure you can see

i wasn't sure of a lot of things 
that i thought to be so true
but there was one thing i was certain about
and it was my love for you

so just remember
i keep your letters
and bumps along the road
only make the prize ten times better!
