Poem
There once was a friendly honey bee named “Bramble” He loved to ramble during daylight through the trees. One day while in the woods, he saw some tires. They were covered with precious yellow-golden dust. Quickly over to the tires he did buzz, a bit off track. Bramble was not a honeybee that would slack. When, he flew over there, he landed on his back. Tar and oil had soaked up the precarious pollen. That precious yellow dust covered an oil trap. So, when he dove in to get it, he could not. He squirmed and he tried to get up; he was stuck. So, he stretched and he reached from his back. After hours of buzzing struggles, he was free. Then, he flew up from the tire into a tree, Beautiful tassels of pollen waft in the breeze. Since other bees were at flowers near the barn, And dark clouds in the sky were blowing near. He started buzzing and sounding the alarm. The others flew together like a swarm. All gathered pollen to take back to the hive. Then, it was quickly taken to the drone dorms. When the rain started pouring, all were safe Bramble, the friendly rambling honeybee was glad. And the moral of the story is: No matter how independent one is, it is always great to have willing, helpful, friends.
