My Heart it bleeds the blood of Life It pumps it through my veins But yet my Heart it also pumps A love which brings me pain My soul has traveled from bounds unknown For a love that it has never known My Heart it lust for a woman divine A woman that shall never be mine Each beat gives life Each beat caprice Each beat the sorrows grow Each beat it kills with a desire undefined Each beat it strikes to only remind The woman I love shall never be mine But just a memory my Heart will carry through time My Heart it travels far from me Though my mind tells it to let it be And though my body informs my Heart That this want is only bringing misery It wanders off to emotions untouched To dreams and visions of love untried To desire this woman so much It is better to die My Heart it will not listen, it can not be told That this woman I should never hold How wrong a love is when it is so one sided How wrong a Heart is when it keeps you divided But yet my Heart bleeds on With this lust forever strong My Heart reaps louder when she it sees A gladness, a warmness comes over me It beats alive with each thundering shrive It yearns to be by her side She is a vision so lovely to behold She is an angel I long to hold Eyes of green like I never seen Skin so soft to the touch Lips of red I dream to kiss Hair of brown I love so much It aches to be with her alone And beats with a sadness of this very tone My Heart it shifts from love to hate When with another man I see her with For fear she may call upon him to mate And shatter my dreams to only myth Anger hate my blood boils When she smiles at another man I want to choke the life from his neck with my own bare hands She smiles and laughs and chases him as if she was a pup She makes a fool of herself for attention from this mutt Detest bitterness pain unbound My Heart it journeys to a fire sensation A seizure of total abomination Sweat breaks forth from my skin These emotions I hold within I smile at her I snare at him My Heart it stirs on Even though it is broken The hate I feel cannot be spoken My Heart it gives me life But yet it brings me pain How could such an organ be responsible for the same I look at her I look again And yet I understand Why this Heart loves her so Why this Heart must forever go Go in paths of feelings I can not explain Feelings which bring at first joy then pain I wish this Heart of mine would rest And give this body sleep And give this mind peace (continued The Wayworn Heart Part 2)
