Though they said not a word, but of their thoughts He could comprehend
Jesus turned to His disciples and said this to His men
"To follow Me you must deny yourself and take up the cross
For there is no profit to be gained if your soul has been lost"

Stop and take a moment and spiritually discern
Is It worth your soul to forsake all that you have learned?
A little bit of knowledge and all the education
Are worthless without spiritual wisdom, no matter the application
Take up the cross just follow and obey
Become a disciple of Christ and follow in His ways
Just don't become to righteous, judgmental or arrogant
For God is the only authority who can set precedence

Is It worth your soul to deny one's own?
Is It worth your soul to sacrifice for God's throne?
You must deny yourself and get rid of earthly sins
Is It worth your soul to let the Spirit of God within?
Separate yourself from the fleshly desires of man
Let go of worldly lusts and follow God's master plan

Jesus said to His men, "one of you to Me will betray
And one of you will deny Me three times in one day
But do not worry for I have a spirit of no fear
And as long as I pray to My Father, I know from Me He will hear
But when the final hour for you comes
Where will you get your guidance from?"

Ask yourself this question; 
Is It worth your soul to deny one's self 
And make the sacrifice
For the foundation that man should lay 
Should be the foundation of Jesus Christ

Is It worth your soul to give up worldly lust?
To deny things of fleshly satisfaction
That Satan uses as a distraction
To displace the God I trust

Is It worth your soul to walk in fear?
For Satan will plot against you, learn to draw the Lord God near
Is It worth your soul to follow a God of spiritual infusion
Or those so-called wolves in sheep's clothing who are only illusions
What are you willing to give up in life to concede or re-arrange?
What is worth your soul? what about you would you change?

Understand that the Living God is always just and fair
He will love you no matter the what, the who, the when or the where
For the greater God anoints you, 
The stronger the adversary will attack
Just believe that your soul is safe through the blood of  Jesus
And Father God has your back

So learn to look all those fears and demons straight in the eye
Because It's worth my soul, as Jesus did for me for Him I would die
