Poem
He was a good little child with such a sense of adventure Sure he could be a bit wild but that's what childhood's for Yet on every single Sunday come rain, snow or even cold This little boy went to church to pray in doing as he was told And each week was the same as his parents said rise and shine For they instilled this flame knowing by doing so all would be fine Each week his Father said come hear putting two nickels into his hand The purpose he would make perfectly clear then saying do you understand One was to be given to the poor to try to help them in their difficult way The other being his for the store that nickel being a lot back in the day And so he flew out the front door and was quickly almost half way there Had he known what was soon in store of that nickel he'd taken better care One bouncing down the sewer then no more oh how life can be so unfair Looking at the other nickel then the store he then looked up into the air And with such a solemn childish way and in being in this particular pickle He said, "Lord I would just like to say that I'm very sorry about Your nickel"
