Poem
Yesterday I thought about what I'm writing today I know I'm holding the pen right now A clean white page between my hands Getting darker and darker Every time the pen runs into it What I don’t know Is whether the pen will reach his goal Or fall down before finishing this letter Because I know nothing about tomorrow Tomorrow is a mysterious ghost Barley seen so far away It could be an angle A demon Or maybe a black cloud By the weakest wisp of wind It breaks Flushes away Like it all was nothing Tomorrow is an ocean Noise of high waves fighting Filling the air around You never know what it holds deep inside Is it jewels and pearls Or the red reckless death? Tomorrow is out of mind Tomorrow is out of sight Even when someone raises his foot He never knows Will it land next on the edge of his palace Or the edge of his grave Tomorrow is a chest Filled with secrets and mysteries Visions spinning around Minds with which are bound Eyes tracking it down But it never reveals a secret I can imagine tomorrow now Sitting on his throne Looking at our hopes and wishes So naïve and ridiculous Smiling in petty Telling himself If they could know they're collecting heritage If they could know they're building destruction They wouldn't bother Man has removed every obstacle Digged deep into the ground Took stairs to the sky Lived between its stars Dived in the deep seas Stolen their treasures Traveled by his mind to the oldest centuries He could barely hear the mind talks His intelligence revealed every secret Opened every door But he fell so hopeless So Powerless In front of tomorrow's door Couldn't open it Couldn’t even dare to knock You strange mysterious ghost Hidden behind the mask of unknown May you move your mask a bit So we can see a little detail of your face Or not Just come a little closer Maybe we could see how you look like from behind the mask We really miss you Our hearts have melted down Waiting for you Tomorrow, We have wishes Some are big Some are tiny And so many hopes Either good or bad Tell us about them How will they end up Will you treat them with humility Or with a little respect No tomorrow, Keep your secrets inside your chest Keep your mask on Never tell us a thing So our souls won't die of greave We are alive by hopes Even if they are false Happy with our wishes Even if they were just lies Man's life is nothing but wishes If they fade away Then life will be next!
