Colours of the rainbow !!!
Come together as one !!!

Dedicated to my Friend Dee !!

From out of the Dark Continent came.
Forced to become, was the game.
Oppression, submission its name.
Four hundreds of years, it remained the same.

I see you Ebony, such a beautiful hue.
I see you Ebony, you are one of so few.
I see you Ebony, but know not what to do ?
I see you Ebony, struggling with life, drops of dew.

They are the tells, the pain you seem to endure.
They are the tears, what make you so unsure.
Yet you hang onto a dream, a desire
that One, comes along and lights your fire.

I have been sifting through mounds of ashes,
in search of understanding why her life crashes,
comes down upon and all around her,
what it is that seems to spur

on all the negativity that doth surround
her every move, to have her beauty found.
She has a sexiest, angelic voice, that sings,
to ones heart, a spirit that hoists one on invisible strings.

She has the heart of a lion,
the soul of an angle,
the mind of an Einstein,
the spirit of a little devil

lurking behind those mysterious, black eyes,
steadfastly, continuing to reach for the skies,
even though, most days, in physical, emotional pain, she doth cry,
knowing, that with each passing day, a little of her spirit doth die.
