Poem
I’m sorry if I’m boring Plain and annoying I swear I did my best I guess I expect You to do the rest There’s my first mistake You should never take More than you need You should only take What you need To live to die To thrive to rise To prove that You’re not a fake Don’t make my mistake I write this in hopes That you’ll never read it You won’t want it You don’t need it You don’t need me To “waste your time” To “act like everything’s fine” To “cry and whine” But I’m sorry if I’m boring Plain and annoying I’m admitting I’m wrong Or at least I’m trying And I’m using this song To express how I feel To prove my feelings are real Even if yours aren’t It makes me feel good To know that things turned out Exactly opposite of what they should Just like I told you I knew it would Cause nothing lasts forever And nothing’s ever always And you can’t trust Anyone these days And this whole thing Playing with my head You might as well Shoot me dead; Bang That’s all you need To be “freed” If there’s even such a thing But I’m sorry if I’m boring Plain and annoying Too skinny, too fat Too flirty, too prude Or any of that I used to be unhappy With the way I am But now I figure Who gives a damn? And if you do, screw you Cause I have no clue How to fix it Or if I even can That wasn’t part Of my plan But my plan’s been violated So many times Like my number one rule No more crying Over stupid things Over them lying Over everything unraveling Everything’s untying I’m falling apart And I’m sorry if I’m boring Plain and annoying I’m sorry for blaming you For everything I failed to do And If I did, I’m sorry for hurting you But you don’t care You’ll do what you want But it was you Who changed the color The size, the font Of the book That is my life With those words That are your knife And I tried To save my life But I can’t do it alone But I am completely alone I guess I’m doing good If it hasn’t shown But now it’s your turn You have to choose I hope you’ll pick the one That means the most to you And in that choice Lies another demand You see, the two go hand in hand And I pray to god That on your way You won’t get stuck And as you walk out the door I wish you good luck
