No Gays Allowed! By Elton Camp There’s Roscoe, a fine Christian is he Just as righteous as anybody could be With his Bible he did like eating a fish Roscoe picked out only what he did wish For “love your enemies,” he did care And really wished that wasn’t in there “Vengeance is mine,” the Lord did say But Roscoe didn’t like it to be that way He called his legislator all filled with spite “Serving gays in my business isn’t right! To let ’em inside, my conscience does offend. Pass a law so this stuff can come to an end.” “The Supreme Court keeps giving ’em rights, Let’s not comply without having some fights.” So the legislature passed a bill that did say Any business can turn those evil gays away Roscoe was happy with the rights he did win He’d bar from his business those doing sin He stationed himself at his business door, Shouting, “Fags can’t come here anymore!” The religious fanatics thought they found A legal way human rights to get around What will the outcome of such laws be? Roscoe was shocked at what he did see A private resort a large sign erected To show exactly what was expected “No Christians Allowed,” it mandated This discrimination, Roscoe so hated Rights that for himself he did claim For others he felt shouldn’t be the same He learned what “slippery slope” meant When rights, the law does circumvent ----------- (Some state legislatures are about to pass laws permitting business owners to refuse service to gays if doing so violates their religious beliefs.)
