His skin left saging on the ground
the blistered rank and smells of stink
children run and play with bombs
adults justify themselves

Play with the sword, die 
what you do is what you get
His skin left saging on the ground
sometimes it drugs the reasons found

Sometimes it is, that kings want more
sometimes it is, worth fighting fore
his skin left saging on the ground
the wars and life go quickly round

Death and dying can be found
perhaps someday when wisdom grows
we'll find a better life to know
our mind is such that we could plan

A better life, that would be grand
and yet with those that will not see
what you give come's back to the 
with drugs and weapons ugly rides

With weapons from the drug time tribes
death and dying we can't hide
blood lies turning grass to red
the battle fields quickly spread

Saladin and Richard, rivers ran with blood
today we are no wiser the battle crys the same
the Muslins and the Christians 
create the death of sons

The bible says that we should love
that is the song from up above
and yet you breed your sons for war
repeating lessons ever more

People that bring weapons 
to the games of life they play
create the death  and dying 
come's back to them someday

A thousand years have come and gone
and yet the fighting carry's on
will children from our futures lives
lay dying from the future lies
