I never understood people who claim that,
they “believe in God”, but not in his creations…
Angels, demons, spirits or that all animals have souls.

Why many who believe in the “Holy Spirit”,
deny the existence of “spirits” seen by others; the human soul, itself.

Why those who claim that they are “faithful”,
Still allow fear to rule every decision that they make.

Those who claim to be “Christian”,
But do the opposite of what “Christ”, taught…
“Christians” aren't supposed to lie, cheat, steal, abuse other people, 
animals or the Earth; start wars, build bigger weaponry to create more carnage.
Neither are Muslims.

Why people follow blindly, preachers, priests, politicians; (all fallible humans) words,
without using their own brains to seek the truth.
Or why we refer to this blind ignorance as, “Patriotism”.

Why those of science think that they know all that there is to know, 
yet if they did, our species would cease to grow, to progress in any direction.

Why scientists, whose job it is to research possibilities only choose to research probabilities…
”sure things” are NOT science.
Apparently, out-of-the-box thinking has left our universe!

Why government and pharmaceutical companies continue to pump toxins, 
pesticides and carcinogens into our food, water, air and medications while knowing 
they are the cause of many cancers and disease.  It’s mass genocide.

Why greedy corporate heads prefer making money over the health 
of their own loved ones;
their own children, grandchildren; even themselves.
The agony their greed causes will someday be their own.
Some call it, “Karmic Justice”.

Why we need to keep inventing bigger, more deadly weapons
with which to destroy each other.
Why we raise innocent children,
only to turn them into perfectly legal, military killers.

Why we brag about our freedom of choice, our freedom as individuals, 
to choose life over death, or visa-versa; yet, call it “patriotic” 
to send individuals to die in a senseless and unnecessary war.

Why anyone can sue or prosecute those who support their own “right to die”,
It’s your birth right; it’s inevitable, anyway.

Why God doesn't just slam our whole planet
into a giant brick wall;
as if it were a sculpture gone wrong, and start over.
Or
Why the human species chooses to be more destructive and deadly 
than any other living creature on the planet.

Why my species insists on being God’s only mistake!
