Poem
Take me back to when I was just 17 when I was young nieve and still had dreams to that long hot summer and my first sweet love an angel bestowed to me as a gift from above. I recall the fragrance of her long blonde hair that glistened like gold and how I was lost in those smiling green eyes and the story they told ''I love you''. How the butterflies used to flutter inside and how I loved to be seen walking hand in hand I was so proud and full of pride. That first fumbled nervous kiss on virgin warm moist tender lips and the sweet waves of emotional bliss And how she used to whisper and words of love that sent me floating among the stars above. The places we used to take each other where no one else had been I was her gallant knight and she the ruler of my heart my world my life my Queen. I remember each precious moment as though it was yesterday A dream of vivid colour a trail of rose petals and clear sunny skies that seemed to say We were made for each other from now until the grave. So many years have now passed and circumstances beyond our control meant ever since I have been lost in a lonely dark desert and feel the bitter cold Although I met many girls of which in some way remind me of you they don't come close they can never compare To the magic that you'd do. I still love you now and guess I always will losing you was an ongoing cruel nightmare and there's a huge hole left to fill. I know you may never read this and feel my pain inside but when we parted something inside me died. Thank you Diane for giving me the happiest days of my life You come and visit me in my dreams at night and we walk bathed in the brightest colourful lights I your husband and you my darling wife If I have to wait for ever then I'll wait for you until then my ashes to be scattered about the places we'd go and we knew. I have never been happy I was then and I guess I will never be happy as I was back when you were mine Where ever you are or who your with I still have so much love to give. ''Come back and finish what you started''.X. Peter Dome.copyright.2013. Dec. .
