With jam on it
Uncle Aubrey stole my trousers and ran off down the lane
7o’clock this Monday morning was last seen boarding a train
Cousin Tracey dropped her wedding ring right down a drain
9o’clock this Monday morning she cried it’s the second time again
Granddad Ernest hammered a nail into his hand and oh what horrid pain
10o’clock on Monday morning in hospital trying to explain
Next door neighbour saw pigeons eating bread that was stale in the main
11o’clock on Monday morning by his kitchen window content to know that they came
Uncle Aubrey got an interview for a bakers making brown bread and also white at a strain
He passed with flying colours and they said he could start Wednesday morning on which day it rained
Cousin Tracey found her wedding ring the very same day lying at the bottom outside covered in dirt and grain
Granddad Ernest had an operation on Wednesday which took the nail out of his bone but left a small whole and polo he had named 
Saturday morning at 11o’clock the next door neighbour got a knock on his door and it was Aubrey with some left over bread that hadn’t been sold he proclaimed
And the rest is just a mystery to me because I never got my pants back but I always had fresh bread with jam on so I never complained
