Thousands possibilities astounding and astonishing 
A seed contains before it germinates or a sapling 
Obtains before it becomes a tree, no one sees 
The immense power in a little drop of rain 
Until it assimilates with a stream of ocean 
Mine , I secure  in between tiny wings 
As gems are in a stomach of oceanic shells 

But the gust of wind  
And the golden rays of sun 
Are aware of what I hold 
In between my tight petals 
If anything is needed 
That is a few drops of dew 
To show my magic. to show my power 
To blow away onlooker’s mind.

In this world of indifference and avoidance 
While even roads cry for the sound 
Of foot steps of a friend 
I passionately wait 
With all my love and faith 
To meet with my most trusted and tested lover 
Finally on one fine morning 
Time peeps in 
And unties my bind 
What a surprise ! 
What a wonder ! 
I get a relief from all the pain of negligence 
When I bloom into flower.
