Surprises Spice Up Life Life’s full of surprises that spice up our Life: Common surprises; strangest of surprises... Drive around town; visit the eventful circus Go to Church; visit the school, the cinema Immerse self in adventure; in treasure hunt, You’ll admit that Life’s full of surprises! People endeavour to outwit one another By fair, by foul- by right or by wrong It’s alright- Life’s full of surprise surprises. Surprises of Life deliciously spice our Life And make Life a pleasure and reason to live Life that’s worthy to live and to die for. This hour bestows what Last hour did not Each day, each New Year meet surprises; Be they challenges terrible or News so Good Surprises spice up Life to make it worthy... We welcome a New Friend, a New Neighbour Gift, Surprise, New Soul Mate with glee. Life is full of surprises that spice up Life.... Like an impulsive friendly kiss from a Fan, Learning a New Phrase for an Old Concept.... Life is full of surprises that spice up our Life. Surprises make mundane Life pleasurable For he who yearns for more knowledge. The Spice of Life whiffs through surprises Surprises from a surprise visit by loved ones Surprises that emancipate us from cocoons Of Life Dull, choking and vastly uninteresting To sunder doors of burgeoning opportunity By which discerning Minds meet their bliss. Every breath, every heartbeat, blink of eye.... These are minute surprises that stir us all, Forgotten surprises that spice our Lives Surprises that warm our blood, our body To fire our bellies to dare and to aspire, To overcome adversity, to sustain our Hope. Surprises of Life; cheerily spice our Life Turning the distraught to progressive people People not weather-beaten as Ozymandias But people who are vibrant and itinerant A people always crossing the Red Sea of throe To venture into new Frontiers of liberty! Life’s spices vibrating in the skin of surprise Lend our nimble bone power and poise To turn drawls of fickle to positive noise Bombshell drop; telling right from wrong By openly challenging those who are strong To free captives locked inside tight skins. Life’s full of surprises that jerk us to see self Not as Wretched of The Earth so hopeless But folks scheming to find common ground To face change together, share the dream, And find in adversity, the reason to coexist And to celebrate serendipity of a surprise!
