Poem
It's beyond reason to try to look and not see To love with heart and soul and not feel Gently my tears refresh my spirit, as I weep in thought Perhaps this life isn't all I wish I were My image falls short of attractive, and my heart not visible Life truly judges from the point that meets the eye A seed small and unattractive blooms life and beauty Picture my heart that seed, and your happiness it's bloom I promise to love you until God calls me back Yet your heart wonders past my offer and I frown towards the heavens, and ask why am I not given what I desire I fear a never ending loneliness, it's cold with out love I want to show you off to the world and care for you with all that I am Slowly I realize your interest and affection might lay at another Who am I to anger for your own wants and likes Yet your linger in my life and act as if you feel for me too You hold me tight as if you never want to let go I smell your curly hair and I awe for my heart races while I am with you Time seems to run from this realm, and all I want is to keep holding you I don't know what it is about you that draws my heart and spirit Your fair image like that of an angels, perhaps it's your smile that lights life unto who ever is near I told your forever and I meant it Your fear recalled you unto your shell where I couldn't come in Distance is nothing, for what I feel for you is all Only in memories I can rejoice of when I held you and kissed you, truly my heart smiled then I wait, perhaps my soul will feel for another some day I write from within and love from whom I am I cant offer you much, but I love you with everything The hourglass runs and so does life Pausing only for a short time as we reflect and wonder how our lives would be if we took other routes One can only wonder, but can love and eternity
