An onion 
said, to a 
pepper fruit.
How do you 
do, today?
Without a 
pause, he 
added too
It’s quite an 
age, dear 
you?

How-do-you-
do, lovely 
bulb
-Replied, the 
pepper fruit
Out there, I 
camped
All season 
through,
Pepper also 
adds, too.

That aside, 
the onion 
said,
More closer, 
the pepper 
stepped –
Saying, what 
bothers you?

Kindly tell, if 
this is true
If truly our 
death is due!
I hear of 
knives, I hear 
of grind –
And this 
upsets my 
mind!

Onion bulb! –
Think not of 
that.
Thank God, 
you have 
made impart.
The world we 
live, is just 
like that,
One day, –
two friends 
must part!

No! No! No! 
Humans are 
bad –
We need to 
let them 
know!
I dream of 
days, still yet 
to come,
Greater 
things, I 
would love to 
show!

Onion bulb! 
It’s always 
good –
To do quick, 
what you 
could!
The time we 
have, are far 
too short.
Time is a rod, 
it rust!

No! No! No! I 
don’t agree
It’s not at 
home, at all 
with me.
Time-
Should be 
sold and 
bought!

The best of 
time, listen 
onion –
A well-spent 
time, it is.
Just two gate 
entrance the 
world
Birth and 
death, it is.

Oh my God, I 
will soon be 
picked
My brother 
has just been 
picked!
Even you, 
your cap is 
gone,
And still, you 
still don’t 
care.

What else, 
what else –
Can I, or do?
Another 
phase,
I head!

No! No! No! I 
will make 
them cry
Weep they, 
weep they 
like kids.
Perhaps, 
perhaps –and 
perhaps,
perhaps
Humans, 
humans 
would heed!

Rest in 
peace, dear 
onion bulb.
I still await 
my death
Of Grinding 
pestle and 
the grinding
force.
