Poem
I met this boy he was fine as could be. He asked if he could be mine I said "Yes" simultaneously He said "You deserved the best, so let me take you to my house to eat" "We're having a special tonight and it would be my treat" I told him "I would be glad to come over and get some chow" So off we went down the road and it wasn't long before we got to his house. I took one look and wanted to leave, his house was run down and covered in weeds. But not wanting to be rude I went to the door. Once inside he told me to watch my step cause he didn't want me stepping on any of his pets. What pets? I wondered could be so small. I soon found out as I went into the hall. I was just walking when I heard somebody speak. It was not very loud barely even a squeak. I looked all around but there was no one in site. So I looked at the floor and there was a cockroach holding what looked to be a knife. He said "hey" and asked if I could play. But I did not answer I just slowly backed away. I wanted to run. I wanted to hide. How could this house be so dirty when the boy was so fine!? I started to leave when the boy said "Come sit down and watch some T.V" "The food will be ready in a hour or three" So I watched T.V but nothing came in all thanks to his "little friends". Then we went into the kitchen it was finally time to eat. There was roaches all on the table and rats on the floor. I knew for a fact I wasn't coming here no more! He fixed me a plate along with the roaches and the rats. The food looked like a dead cat. No way was I eating that! I took another look at it and ran out the door. Now I'm home safe in my bed, but I'll never go to that boy's house ever again!
