ABOVE THE CLOUDS To hell with these monotonies, no strings attached I fly. Live normally with anomalies, myself, my sole ally. Disguise realised through shrouded lies, I wore to please beliefs. And wore a crease which won't suffice, to lead a life so brief. Then I shed, ceased to pretebd, off, through clouds to Utopia. The world then wailed, won't apprehend, my flight, denying euphoria. Trapped by rules I'm bound to abide, ambushed by decree, they foiled my flee. Rehab by living, this world a cyanide, I bite debris, failed to foresee. Dead sea ahead, spilling with sharks, and tears, as I pray for blissful healing. Tossed my ark, on faith I embark, denying me any custom feeling. Lost and found, again I'm bound, the world hard steel, me, wet naked rust swim through my tears, go around, astound, the world, as I make, bridges from dust. To combust the gap, between dreams and reality, existance a fiasco, the world gave me naught. Above clouds, floating away from my vanity, and cycles, of rebirth, illusions I ain't bought. Beyond the clouds, in seizured thralls, of dreams so extreme, themed to my design. Envied, world shakes me,"Hello Dr.",it calls, luck mine, no one on the other line. The world plays roles, while I play the lead, in my life, now as I prepare to rebel. Those unjust bondages, we merely accede, with guns in heaven. and roses in hell. Storm brings rain, from pleasure comes pain, cavities left, by dreams so sweet. The world deep below, like a being insane, made me think, was it worth the feat? From anthills of hope, 'bove clouds today, returned to douse the world ablaze. Realized, Utopia, on earth it lays, beyond clouds, the world, cured of malaise. From within I'll fight, to see that day, from a grain of hope, those fields I'll raise. Of truth, and yet, I cry a phrase, THE MASCARAS FADED, YET I GOT GRACE............................................ [Summary--Living a life of disguise in a world full of lies, the protagonist believes that beyond the clouds there lays an ideal city where he can follow his noble dreams and be his original self. But the world mocks him. Yet he makes beyond the clouds, to his ideal life, only to see men deep below suffering. He is trapped by his conscience and returns to the world, realising that the world can be cured only by LIVING IN IT. Thus he brings the clouds down to the earth, to form his own blissful Utopia]
