Poem
I'm trapped in a maze, surrounded by silent walls, Vicious obstacles, and demons with violent calls I trip and fall, but I gain the strength, and then I rise Like holding hands with the Lord, and looking straight in the Devils eyes I'm mesmerized, but I have mastered Lucifer's tactics, I'll improvise, and fill all the blanks in like Ad-libs I've had this, is my cup half full, or half empty? Depends on the amount of Holy water that's within me As I, gaze down the corridor, walking the left lane Condescending into darkness, but Skitzo is not afraid He'd lay, down and die for the Lord, for Jesus Christ He shed his blood for me, so for eternal life I'll pay the price Continuing down the hallway, I'm dazed but not phased, Flowing rhymes amazed, in such fathomless ways Through the maze, I I gaze and see a peeking light When I reach I open a door, and see the angels fly Is this Heaven? Or am I dreaming I can't tell I must be in Heaven I feel like I just walked through Hell But I'd do it again, all over it meant I'd see God I'll make it there, as long as I keep my pen as a rod I enter the utopia and I'm greeted by two souls, As I walk through the gate I felt my body turn cold, I stayed bold, and I watched as my soul released, There was instant euphoria, and all pain deceased I felt my soul leak, but I surprisingly wasn't scared I looked down saw the ink, spill out into thin air I reached out to grab it, I didn't wanna let it go Then I heard a voice tell me, "Don't worry son you're home" I instantly felt warm again, not questioning what it was I was used to ominous feeling, now I'm used to the hugs Angels above, below, and surrounding my heart I wish I would've known, that's how it was from the start But with the first heart beat, He gave me a destination He told me to create art, with an eternal infatuation Know no irritation, because with this rod I heal the scars Stranded in thoughts, but I know the distance is never far
