Poem

I was WALKING,
While TALKING,
to myself one DAY.

When a handicap person,
crossed my WAY.

He mumbled ,
some words,
under his BREATH.

As I overheard,
him talking,
to himself about DEATH!

I asked him,
who was he,
 talking TOO.
He replied the same person as YOU.
I hesitated, before I spoke.

Then said,
 I was not loudly SPEAKING.
He said I know but I felt it TOO!
We all can feel His presence. Not just us TWO.

At that moment, I KNEW.
This was not,
 your normal INDIVIDUAL!

I felt his anointing, and KNEW,
 instantly he was SPIRITIUAL.
I then said,
 you are just like ME!


He said,
 “I too fell and SEE”!
I can hear pain, and at times I can touch HAPPINESS!

But!
 	People still judge me, differently from THEE!

He told me to sit down, and take a second to THINK.
He told me to close my eyes,
so I couldn’t BLINK.
Then he said,
now all you can see,
is DARKNESS!
What if this?
Was your LIFE!
Would it make a difference?
if you were black,
or WHITE!

Then he touched my ARMS.
They began to swing, 
back and forth while,
they were NUMB.
Then he said,
now people will call you,
blind and DUMB!

Then he touched my EARS.
I seen him talking,
but I could not HEAR!

He wrote on a paper,
 	now your words,
 are JUMBBLED!

He said,
 just like that,
 your eardrum CRUMBLED!


Then he touched my legs,
 	Instantly I fell,
 to my KNEES!

Then I took his pen and paper!
I wrote,
HELP ME PLEASE!

He then,
 touched my eyes, my hands, my legs, and my arms!
 						
		Then SAID!
Why! Did it take all of these
CATASOPHIIES,

For you to experience,
before you finally,
fell to your KNEES!

To ask the Lord thou God!
To help you PLEASE!

Instead! 
Those who are blessed,
 never cherishes,	
 what is GIVEN!

Then they have the audacity!
To act like, 
THE HANDICAP IS FORBIDDEN!
